Hi! I’m Munise, a London-born artist of Turkish Cypriot heritage, now based in Sheffield. As a mother and lifelong traveller—especially drawn to the Far East—my work is rooted in tradition, storytelling, and a deep connection to mysticism. I specialise in Tazhib (Islamic illumination) and Persian miniature painting, using centuries-old techniques to create contemporary works that honour the sacred, the symbolic, and the timeless.
